Ongoing Outreach Ministries
SNAPP
One of our earliest ministries, and still going, is a monthly food
buying club which helps stretch the dollars individuals and families
spend on food. It's because of volunteers like you that the cost of
a unit of food is kept low. One Saturday a month, our volunteers divide
grocery, meat, and fresh produce into units for pick-up at the church
by participants. Not to be outdone by chain stores, we even carry
to the car. Witness the appreciation from those you help in volunterring
just this one day each month.

Christians in Action
Our Christians in Action afterschool program also relies on adult
volunteers. CIA has blossomed into a discipleship of enthusiastic
middle school and high school youth who have their own outreach ministry
to learn more about CIA, click on Youth In Action.
The Lumberjacks
There's plenty of action for
volunteers here. This crew is our wood cutting ministry which
has met the heating needs of many families in our community.
There's a work party almost every Saturday to collect and split wood
to get ready for winter. When the cold weather arrives, our volunteers
deliver wood to those who otherwise may be without heat. Working
with country social services, the Lumberjacks provide more that 60
loads of wood to folks in the surrounding area.
